The 8th Annual Port Richmond Pierogi Fest Returns With Philly’s Top Pierogis, Live Music, Vendors & More

What started in 2019 as a celebration of one of Philly’s most popular dishes has spawned into an annual event that has grown every year since. Now the 8th Annual Port Richmond Pierogi Fest will be taking over Campbell Square Park (2535 E. Allegheny Ave) on Saturday, August 8, from 12 PM to 5 PM.  

Entry is completely free, making this one of the best summer afternoons the city has to offer. Here’s everything going down:

The main event features delicious creations from some of the region’s most celebrated pierogi makers: Mom Mom’s Kitchen, Dymski Pierogies, Donna’s Bar, Zosia’s Homemade Foods, Kielbasa ‘N More, Little Walter’s, Pat’s Polish Deli, Dinner House Polish Cuisine, and more. And the best part? You decide who takes home the trophy in the Pierogi Contest — the ultimate taste-off where your vote crowns the Best Pierogi Vendor of 2026.

Beyond the pierogis, a full lineup of food vendors keeps the appetite satisfied all afternoon, including Bacon on a Stick, Humpty Dumplings, The Little Sicilian, Sibling Sweets, Cool Kids Collab, The Chili Banana, and Mama Smoothies. Wash it all down at the beer garden, pouring cold ones from Sacred Vice Brewing, Hillbilly Hooch, and more.

Live Music

The main stage is stacked from start to finish with performances by Ray Palmer, The Faraway Guys, Smash Atoms, and the Polish American String Band, with DJ Joe keeping the energy high in between sets.

Shopping, Art & Activities

50+ local crafters and artists set up shop throughout the park, including Art History 101, Henna by Dave, Shady Sunglasses Deals, We Glow, Kaka City, and dozens more local creators. Stop by the State Street tent and photo zone, leave a message for the world on Fall Risk’s viral Phone, or put your thoughts on paper at the White Board setup. And don’t forget to grab an official Pierogi Fest T-shirt for just $20 before they sell out.

The little ones are covered too, with bouncy houses, obstacle courses, face painting, and plenty of family-friendly activities to keep them entertained all afternoon.
