Save the Date: The 2nd Street Festival Returns This August With Hundreds of Vendors, Live Music & More
Mark your calendars. The 2nd Street Festival is back on Sunday, August 2, from 12 PM to 10 PM, taking over all of North 2nd Street in Northern Liberties between Girard Avenue and Spring Garden Street for a full ten hours of food, drinks, music, and fun.
Founded in 2008 by local business owners, the 2nd Street Festival has grown into one of the largest annual street festivals in Philly, spanning several blocks and drawing thousands of people each year. Held always on the first Sunday in August, it’s become a summertime tradition that Northern Liberties residents and visitors alike.
The numbers speak for themselves: expect a dozen beer gardens, 200 vendors, and two stages of live music running throughout the day and into the evening. Whether you’re perusing vendors, catching a set on the main stage, or simply soaking in the neighborhood energy with a cold one in hand, there’s no shortage of ways to spend the day.
