Wawa Welcome America’s Free Museum Days Start Next Month — Here’s a List of Every Free Museum
As Philly prepares for a once-in-a-generation celebration surrounding America’s 250th anniversary, Wawa Welcome America is once again bringing back one of its most beloved traditions — Free Museum Days. Running from June 20 through July 4, residents and visitors alike will have the opportunity to explore dozens of museums, historic sites, cultural institutions, and attractions across the city completely free of charge.
Wawa Welcome America, the nation’s largest July 4th celebration, spans 16 days of free programming from Juneteenth through Independence Day, featuring concerts, block parties, fireworks, parades, wellness events, and family-friendly experiences throughout Philadelphia. In honor of the nation’s Semiquincentennial in 2026, this year’s festival promises to be even bigger, with Free Museum Days offering access to some of the city’s most iconic and lesser-known institutions.
