Philly is gearing up for one of its biggest celebrations yet as Wawa Welcome America has officially revealed the headline performers for several major concerts leading up to its highly anticipated July 4th celebration, part of the nation’s 250th birthday festivities.

On Monday, March 16, festival organizers announced a lineup of acclaimed artists who will headline various events throughout the 16-day festival, which runs June 19 through July 4th.  While the performer for the iconic July 4th concert on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway has not yet been revealed, the newly announced lineup already features an impressive mix of Grammy-winning artists, hometown favorites, and globally recognized performers.

The newly announced performers will headline concerts throughout the festival, highlighting a wide range of musical genres and cultural celebrations.

Juneteenth Block Party — June 19

DJ Jazzy Jeff will headline the annual Juneteenth Block Party, kicking off the festival with a celebration of freedom, culture, and music.

Philly Fair 250 — June 20–22

R&B singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$ will headline Philly Fair 250, a brand-new three-day event debuting at the festival this year.

Celebration of Black Music Month — June 25

Eve will headline the Celebration of Black Music Month concert, bringing another hometown star to the stage.

Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta — June 27

Olga Tañón will headline Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta, one of the festival’s longest-running cultural celebrations.

Gospel on Independence — June 28

Kirk Franklin will headline the Gospel on Independence concert, delivering a powerful night of inspirational music.

Free Pride Concert and Celebration — June 30

Trixie Mattel will host the Philadelphia Orchestra Free Pride Concert

U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus Concert — July 2

Queen Latifah will headline the U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus concert.

Philly Pops Concert — July 3

Idina Menzel will headline the Philly Pops concert, setting the stage for the festival’s grand finale the following day.

More details—including the highly anticipated July 4th concert headliner—will be announced in the coming months.
