NYC Restaurant is Offering a $35K Thanksgiving Meal for Four
Yes, you read that correctly. A restaurant in New York City is promoting a $35K Thanksgiving meal for four. During a holiday that was created to give thanks, it looks like the 1% have a lot to be thankful for if they choose this budget busting deal.
Old Homestead which currently commands 3 1/2 stars on Yelp, plans to serve a 9 course meal to a party of four that is willing to fork over what most Americans make in a year. The pricey feast will feature Japanese Wagyu filet mignon, sweet potatoes topped with $1,600 Royal Osetra 000 Caviar, and squab (a type of young pigeon) stuffed with foie gras. When it’s time to split the bill each person can expect to pay $8,750.
Still not ready to break the bank? The diner will also include over the top fixings such as turkey gravy infused with a $1,750 bottle of 1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild and cranberry orange relish with Gran Marnier cognac liqueur. In addition diners will also be treated to speacial grandstand seating at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, a $6,000 gift card to Bloomingdales which also includes door-to-door limousine service and to top it all off, dancing lessons at Fred Astaire Dance Studio. The owners of Old Homestead stated that there are currently 8 Seats left. Check out the official menu below will you and your friends snatch up the remaining seats?

Squab stuffed with rich foie gras soaked in $5,000 per bottle Courvoisier L’Esprit Cognac.
Roasted farm-raised organic turkey stuffed with seven pounds of ground Japanese Wagyu filet mignon.
Turkey gravy made from renderings infused with $1,750 per bottle Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
Cranberry orange relish with Gran Marnier.
Butternut squash infused with winter black truffles.
Creamy mashed potatoes with Swedish moose cheese.
