Too Soon For Spooky Season? Battleship New Jersey is Hosting a Late Night Ghost Hunt
The USS New Jersey has seen its fair share of action and with that comes lost lives. For those that like to dab in paranormal activities including shows and movies, here’s a chance to be a part of a ghost hunt.
On Saturday August 2nd beginning at 8 pm, Haunted Rooms Co. will be making a stop at Battleship New Jersey to host a special ghost hunt. Guests will board the most decorated naval vessel which has been rumored to have unexplained phenomena.
From 1942 until 2001, this floating fortress served through four major conflicts, carrying over 45,000 souls through the terrors of World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War “but some of those souls never left.” claims Haunted Rooms Co. “Staff members regularly encounter full-bodied apparitions walking Broadway- the ship’s longest passageway – when the vessel is completely empty. One events team member came face-to-face with a sailor solid enough to nearly speak with, only to watch in horror as the figure vanished into thin air. Even more chilling is the mysterious case of Seaman Fox, whose lifeless body was discovered inside the ship’s dumbwaiter. Whispers among the crew suggested he was deliberately pushed.but the investigation’s outcome remains suspiciously absent from official records,” they go on to describe.
