Who’s up for a some cocktails and crate digging?  Well, it sounds like the perfect date or just a chill daytime event that any music lover can enjoy. Welk, on Saturday, September 28th 12-5 pm, Old City’s premiere listening room, 48 Record Bar announced the return of its popular Vinyl Pop-Up Market.

Guests will get to enjoying seasonal cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages from 48 Record Bar and plenty of vinyls to sift through. Definitely a great mid-day activity and you never know what gems you might find.

For those that are all about retro and nostalgia, 48 Record Bar is also bringing back the popular DECADES — The Lo-Fi x 48 Record Bar Industry Night on Sunday, October 6 from 8-11 PM. This month’s theme is all about the sounds of 70’s singer/songwriters, with a special guest DJ spinning tracks from the era. Guests can also enjoy a selection of featured cocktails incorporating Lo-Fi Aperitifs, created to evoke the laid-back yet soulful vibe of the 70s.

DECADES is a monthly industry night series for the ages, with installment centered around a different decade through music and beverage. Highlights from each industry night will include the following:

  • Special guest DJ or musician who hails from a local bar or restaurant spinning music from a chosen decade
    Two featured cocktails (available for one-night-only), with recipes sourced/riffed on from that decade ($10 each)
    20% off everything else on the customer’s tab including Lo-Fi’s Lo-Life, a Miller High Life with a splash of Lo-Fi Gentian Amaro
    Special merch crafted with the vinyl listener/cocktail slinger in mind
