The foodie night owls flocked to the Night Market events last year.  In case you’re new to the area or just been oblivious to The Food Trust’s insanely poplar event, Night Market is food event where the area’s top food trucks gather several times throughout the summer and early fall months at various locations around town.  Where most of these types events take place during the day, Night Market obviously takes place at night between the hours of 6-10 pm.


9th Street Italian Market Festival

2015 the S. 9th Street Italian Market Festival in the shopping district celebrates Cent’anni, our 100 Year Anniversary!  So you know this year will be better than ever.  Enjoy dozens and dozens of vendors including food and art as well as live bands and entertainment.  It’s a fun family event you won’t want to miss.


Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby & Festival

Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby & Arts Festival consists of both a sculpture derby (previously called the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby) and arts festival (previously called the Trenton Avenue Arts Festival). Both events were established to draw residents and visitors into the burgeoning Frankford Avenue Arts Corridor and foster neighborhood revitalization.


Tech N9ne

May 20th | The Trocadero


Tech N9ne Ft. Chris Webby, Krizz Kaliko, Murs, King 810, Zuse TECH N9NE prepared his fans for his current masterpiece, K.O.D. when he dropped Sickology 101, the hottest collaboration album of the year. He announced the farewell of the TECH N9NE everyone had known. His music was getting darker, and this, he explained, was his specialty.


Philly Beer Week

Established in 2008, it’s the largest beer celebration of its kind in America, featuring hundreds of festivals, dinners, tours, pub crawls, tastings and meet-the-brewer nights to area bars, restaurants and other locations throughout Greater Philadelphia. The Roots Picnic by Philly’s own legendary Roots Crew throws this annual music festival that draws some of the biggest names in music as well as talented up-and-comers. For fans of music this is one event you’ll want to be at.


International Great Beer Expo

May 30th | Philadelphia Naval Yard

International Beer Festival This beer tasting event will feature an incredible variety of beers from some of the finest U.S. and international breweries while raising money for the Committee To Benefit The Children. This local Philly charity provides resources for the treatment and care of children with cancer, leukemia and serious blood disorders.
