You Could Be One of 12 Couples to Receive a Free Wedding at Reading Terminal’s Annual ‘Married at the Market’
Love will once again take center stage at Reading Terminal Market as the beloved Married at the Market ceremony returns on Saturday, February 14, offering couples the chance to wed in one of Philadelphia’s most iconic and meaningful public spaces—completely free of charge.
Now in its latest edition, Married at the Market invites couples from all walks of life to celebrate Valentine’s Day Philly-style, surrounded by the energy, history, and diversity that define the historic public market. Sign-ups are open now through January 27, with selected couples notified by January 30. A total of 12 couples will be chosen to participate in the group ceremony.
The ceremony will be officiated by Chef Beth Esposito, a licensed wedding officiant with Bling Ceremonies and owner of Chef Beth’s Kitchen at the Market. The space will be specially decorated for the occasion, transforming Reading Terminal Market into a festive, love-filled setting for this once-in-a-lifetime moment.
“This uniquely Philadelphia celebration of love is an opportunity for the Market to even more deeply embrace its position as a diverse, welcoming public space,” said Annie Allman, CEO and General Manager of Reading Terminal Market. “We want to create a magical moment for couples in any walk of life to start their next chapter in the heart of the City of Brotherly Love.”
Each participating couple will receive a thoughtfully curated wedding package provided by Market merchants, including:
-
Florals
-
Wedding cupcakes
-
Sparkling wine
-
Professional photography
-
A $50 Reading Terminal Market gift card
All elements of the ceremony are complimentary, making Married at the Market one of the most accessible and heartfelt ways to celebrate love in Philadelphia.
