Wonder Fishtown is Opening and Will Operate as a Food Hall Serving Menu Options from 20 Different Restaurants
A new eatery is opening in Fishtown but instead of one specific type of food, this one will offer a variety from 20 different restaurants. Wonder Fishtown will be opening May 29th at 23 W. Girard and will offer the capability of mix-and-match food orders
Based around the Wonder App, the food hall locations will have kiosks where customers can order anything from pizza, to sandwiches, to salads, and much more.
With locations in KOP, West Chester, Ardmore, and others around the region, the Fishtown location is poised to become the first one in Philly. Featuring menu items from “celebrity chefs such as Bobby Flay, Jose Andres, Nancy Silverton and Marcus Samuelsson, along with award-winning restaurants from across the country including Tejas Barbeque and Di Fara Pizza, customers can experience any combination of these chefs and restaurants all together in one order for the first time.” Wonder’s description reads.
To celebrate its grand opening, Wonder Fishtown will host a series of events including a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 pm on May 29th
which will also serve as the unveiling of a bespoke art installation curated by Fishtown’s Paradigm Gallery in partnership with local artist Roxana Azar, featuring their signature surreal dichroic plant sculptures running as a weeklong installation in the space.
“Additional art from Fabiola Lara’s cult-followed vending machines will be an ongoing fixture as well. With local art as a passion area for Wonder, partnerships with Fabiola and Paradigm Gallery span multiple locations. The evening will be rounded out with pop-ups from local DJs, beverage purveyors, swag giveaways (including a limited-edition Roxana Azar-designed tote), and, of course, bites from Wonder’s line-up of restaurants from some of the world’s best chefs including Bobby Flay, José Andres, Nancy Silverton and Marcus Samuelsson,” Wonder Fishtown states.
Friday will feature a happy hour with Stateside from 5-7pm and Saturday will bring a pop-up from Trashed Vintage, coffee pours from Forin and build-your-own bouquets from Myrtle & Magnolia from 11am-1pm. Sunday, Wonder will be offering 50% off all orders (with code: HIFISHTOWN) .
