Who’s Down For Books & Brews? The Free Library is Hosting a Rooftop Beer Garden Series!
Brûlée Catering by Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix in collaboration with The Free Library of Philadelphia to host Brews & Views, a spring beer garden series on the Parkway Central Library’s Skyline Terrace. Attendees can enjoy drinks and take in spectacular views of the city on Thursdays from May 18 to June 29. The beer garden will be open from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Local craft beers, wine, and refreshing cocktails will be available to purchase, along with a menu of made-to-order snacks from Brûlée’s chefs. The menu will vary from week to week; the kick-off menu on May 18th will include Charcuterie and Cheese Plate, Bavarian Pretzel Sticks and more.
There will also be entertainment every week to energize the crowd. In addition, the street team from the event radio sponsor, Today’s 96.5 TDY will be on-site each week. Stay tuned to Today’s 96.5 for details.
In an effort to ensure guests are responsible drinkers at Brews & Views, the event series has partnered with Lyft as the official ride share partner. Over the course of the seven week rooftop beer garden series a weekly promo code for ride to and from the event will be offered.
The beer garden is free to enter and no advance registration is required. Guests must be 21 and up to attend; staff will check IDs before allowing guests up to the rooftop.
