uCity Square is Hosting Holiday Fest With Ice Skating, Vendors, Live Music, and a Wine & Beer Garden

If you’re looking for a fun night out this holiday city then head over to uCity Square (3701 Filbert St.) for their inaugural Holiday Fest on Friday December 9th from 3 pm -7 pm and Saturday December 10th from 11 am to 7 pm.

Holiday Fest is free to attend and includes a slew of activities including a pop-up ice rink, a beer and wine garden provided by Wissahickon Brewery & Chaddsford Winery, fire pits, food trucks, vendors, live music, crafts and more.

Put together by Wexford Science + Technology, Holiday Fest invites community members and local residents to celebrate the holidays at one of Philly’s newest communities in West Philly, uCity Square. “Guests can expect a festive community experience that activates their holiday spirit. Holiday music, gifts, food + drinks, and winter activities for all ages. No need to travel to Center City, we have brought the fun to the neighborhood,” states event organizers.

All vending fees from this event will be donated to Theatre in the X, a community-base program dedicated to increasing access to theatre for West Philly residents in particular and African Americans in general. In addition Wexford Science + Technology will be sponsoring a few hours of hot beverages for guests, as a donation to The Monkey and The Elephant, Philadelphia’s first and only non-profit coffee shop employing and supporting former foster youth.
