Twisted Tail is Hosting a Special Dining in the Dark Series Featuring Three Courses and Surprise Dishes

We’ve all seen it on social media but for those interested in dining in the dark, here’s your chance. On Wednesday July 26th and Thursday August 10th, Twisted Tail (509 S 2nd St.) will be hosting their own Dining in the Dark which will be curated by the event company, Fever.

This, “gastronomical event featuring a thoughtfully curated three-course meal that transcends the use of sight, intensifying the engagement of other senses. Research indicates that a significant 80% of individuals rely on their eyes while eating, but in the absence of sight, the prevailing theory suggests that taste and smell emerge as dominant forces, elevating the dining experience to an entirely new level,” event organizers state.

The Twisted Tail to dine in the dark events will feature  three course meals featuring surprise dishes that guests can experience while blindfolded. Dining in the Dark offers three meal options: Vegan (Green), Seafood (Blue), and Meat (Red). Guests can choose their preferred menu, and a choice of two time slots: 6 and 8:30 pm. The secret menus are changed seasonally, so every season is a new surprise. To complement the dining experience, The Twisted Tail will offer an extensive list of craft cocktails, wines, beer, with over 120 whiskeys to choose from.

To attend, guests must purchase tickets ($80), and choose a preferred time slot and meal. Drinks and gratuity are not included with tickets.

More dates to be announced. Those looking to take their meal to a whole new level, can view the full information and book tickets here.
