Top Bartenders From Around Philly Will Compete at the 2nd Annual Spritzadelphia Aboard the Moshulu
Philly is home to talented bartenders and soon one will be take home a coveted title. The 2nd Annual Spritzadelphia live cocktail competition is taking place aboard the Moshulu. After a month-long citywide contest in August featuring top bars and restaurants, six finalists will face off on Tuesday, September 10, 2025, to see who will be crowned this year’s “Spritz Supreme.”
Throughout August, participating venues across Philadelphia and the surrounding region showcased their best takes on the iconic Aperol Spritz. Guests were invited to sip and vote via QR code, narrowing the field to six standout variations. Finalists will now mix their creations live in front of a crowd of spritz enthusiasts, with judging powered by both attendees and the local USBG (United States Bartenders Guild) president.
The top three winning spritzes will not only claim bragging rights but also each win a pair of Eagles tickets. More importantly, they’ll earn the title of one of Philly’s best spritz makers — a badge of honor in a city with no shortage of cocktail talent. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

Spritz Sampling: 6–8 p.m., included with ticket purchase

Entertainment: DJ Adrian Hardy sets the mood during tastings, followed by surprise live performances from local musicians while votes are tallied (8–9 p.m.)

After-Party: Winners announced, then the celebration continues with music and dancing late into the night

This year’s competition has drawn entries from some of the area’s most notable cocktail spots, including Alice, Attico, Davio’s, Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen, Gran Caffe L’Aquila, Leo Restaurant, Lionello West Chester, Little Gay Pub, Midnight & The Wicked, Moshulu, Mulherin’s, North Bowl, Positano Coast, Slow Hand West Chester, South Bowl, Superette, and Superfolie.
This is a 21+ event, and tickets include access to all six finalist spritzes during the live tasting.
