Aug. 6th | 6-10 pm | 35th & Lancaster
The foodie night owls flocked to the Night Market events last year. In case you’re new to the area or just been oblivious to The Food Trust’s insanely poplar event, Night Market is food event where the area’s top food trucks gather several times throughout the summer and early fall months at various locations around town. Where most of these types events take place during the day, Night Market obviously takes place at night between the hours of 6-10 pm.
Summertime Spirits & Cocktails
Aug. 7th | 7:30-9:30 pm | The Wine School of Philadelphia
From mojitos to punches, learn to make the best summer cocktails in this fun and educational cocktail class. Don’t worry, you won’t only watch and learn in this class, you will also taste, too.

Science on Tap is a monthly science café in Philadelphia for anyone who is interested in getting together with other people to discuss a range of engaging science topics. It’s held at National Mechanics, a relaxed, convivial bar in Old City, and features a brief, informal presentation by a scientist or other expert followed by lively conversation.

Sunset Wine Cruises: Develop Your Wine IQ
Aug. 21st | 7-9 pm | Independence Seaport Museum
Take the mystery out of wine! “Develop Your Wine IQ” presents an easy, fun-filled setting where you can learn the basics while tasting a sampling of wines from Pinot Boutique’s local collection. We’ll explore wine regions, how wine is made, wine varieties, and how to read a wine label. This class is for casual wine drinkers ready to take the next step into the exciting world of wine.

Don’t miss World Atlas of Beer. A whirlwind tour of the classics, the innovators, and the exceptional: This beer tasting class is an overview of the entire world of beer today. You can expect a wild trip to North America to Belgium to the United Kingdom and then to the furthest reaches of this awesome beer-drenched world.
Aug. 27th | 7:30 -9:30 pm | The Wine School of Philadelphia
Wine & pizza pairing is not only a great combination, it also makes for a fun class. You will enjoy multiple pizzas and wine parings, from the classic Margherita to an over-the-top white truffle number. In the end, you will learn why certain wines give pizza –delicious, lovely pizza– an extra bit of va-va-voom. You’ll even learn the deep dark secret about why a very famous Italian wine is very possibly the WORST pairing ever.
