Think You’re Great at Cornhole? The Philadelphia Bell-Ringers are Hosting a Combine for a Chance to Make Their Team

First off, did you know Philly had a major league cornhole team where players are paid a guaranteed salary and paid travel? That’s right the Philadelphia Bell-Ringers are Philly’s major league cornhole team and they are hosting a special combine to recruit the best players in the region.

The Philadelphia Bell-Ringers are the first major league cornhole team in the world. Major League Cornhole is kicking off its first season and the Philadelphia Bell-Ringers will be competing against five other teams this season from all across the country.

As part of their season opener on April 16th, The Bellringers will host a combine where participants can show the team what you got. The combine will take from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia.

Some of the key parts of this combine consist of assessing players by shot precision and consistency in order to give the players a unique MLC rating. This rating is not offered in any other league. Players will also get to play in a 14-game season that has shot-calling abilities. Participants can enjoy networking, vendors, sponsorship promotions, and other activities a team might host.

The full combine price is $100, which includes the placement assessment, and Shot Call Assessment. Fans would also get a free T-shirt included in the cost for the team.

“We’re honored and excited to bring the first-ever professional cornhole team to the city of Philadelphia. We know fans will be passionate and behind us all the way! We hope to see them at the combine,” said Zeb Campagna, Commissioner of the MLC. In addition, the Philadelphia Bell-Ringers will be giving back by supporting a dozen charities in our area throughout the year. For more information on the combine visit phillybellringers.com.
