The Young Friends of The Reading Terminal Market are Hosting a Special Happy Hour With Food, Drinks, & Entertainment
Two years ago The Reading Terminal Market’s Young Friends launched a special happy hour series to not only spotlight some of the market’s offerings but to also showcase the market in a new light to younger guests. Now the series continues with another happy hour installment taking place Thursday May 30th from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm.
Guests can expect an evening of networking and connections over tasty bites and cocktails. Food options will include:
-
- Mini Heirloom tomato and corn salad bowl with champagne vinaigrette (vegan/Gluten Free) from Fox and Son
- Smokey Cheesers (mini beef and pork hotdog with cheese wrapped in a pretzel) from Miller’s Twist
- Mini Southern Fried or Nashville Hot Chicken Bites with Buttermilk Ranch and a Pickle from Molly Malloy’s
- BBQ Pulled Pork and Cole Slaw on a BBQ Seasoned Potato Wedge from The Rib Stand
- Shrimp Salad Sliders with chopped shrimp, lemon zest, peppers, and scallions from Butchers Pantry
In addition to the menu items, attendees will also enjoy an array of drink selections from PA Libations including local beers, wines, and canned cocktail pairings. The happy hour will also feature a local acoustic guitar player to provide the added vibes.
“The series was created in support of a long-term succession plan for the market. The goal is to encourage involvement from young customers coming into the market, hoping to give them a unique experience that will turn them into dining customers and future shoppers. Succession planning in these small doses is important for the health of the market for another 130+ years,” stated All About Events Director or Operations Stevie Martin-Daley. “Attendees can expect a night of connecting with like-minded individuals from diverse industries, building new relationships, and expanding your professional network in a unique historical Philadelphia setting. Guests will get to experience the iconic market in a private setting while enjoying RTM favorite foods, local beer and wine pairings,” Stevie added.
Tickets to the Young Friends Happy Hour are $40 and available at allaboutevents.ticketleap.com/summer-young-friends-happy-hour/details .
