The Woodlands is Hosting a Halloween Family Day with All-Day Activities!
Sometimes Halloween can be tough to find activities for kids without giving them nightmares. Well luckily The Woodlands (4000 Woodland Ave.) have put together an all-day Halloween Family Day. This is a great opportunities to bring the kids out for fun activities including scavenger hunts, pop-up museum, costume contest and more. HALLOWEEN SCAVENGER HUNT – ALL DAY
Visit the grave of some of our most notable burials and see how their presence can still be felt in Philadelphia today!
ALL HALLOW’S READ: SPOOKY BOOK SWAP – ALL DAY
Discover books about monsters, pumpkins, goblins, oh my! Seasonal reads will be hidden in age-appropriate sections throughout part of the cemetery. Find the Riddle Monument to join the fun!
The Mutter Museum will be here with objects and specimens (that you can touch!) from their teaching collection. Find them in the Hamilton Mansion.
EXPLORE BIRDS WITH TORIBIRD – ALL DAY
Learn about birding at The Woodlands with our resident birding expert, Toribird! She’ll also be sharing fun facts about her favorite birds – VULTURES!
PET COSTUME CONTEST – JUDGING AT 2:30pm
Dress up your pet and show them off to the crowds at Halloween Family Fun Day! Costumes will be judged by students from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
