The Wine and Culture Fest Is Taking Over the Bok Building With Music-Driven Dinners, Panels, Interactive Classes & More
The 8th Annual Wine and Culture Fest is back — and this year, it’s taking the classroom metaphor seriously.
Taking place on Saturday, July 25, at South Philly’s Bok Building, this year’s theme is “Summer School” — a cultural deep dive where wine is the connector and community leads the curriculum. Presented by The Hue Society, WCF has spent eight years redefining what wine education looks and feels like, deliberately removing intimidation from the wine space and reframing the experience through the lens of history, food, and music. “We aren’t here to teach people the ‘right’ way to drink or force them to bow to some Euro-centric standard of luxury,” says Tahiirah Habibi, founder of the Wine and Culture Fest. “We are teaching people where wine already lives in their own bodies, memories, and lives.”

Expanded R.I.C.E. Culinary Experience — The signature R.I.C.E. dining event, a global culinary journey honoring the legacy of rice across the Black diaspora, welcomes Chef Nana Wilmot, fresh off her standout run on Bravo’s Top Chef, to the lineup. Curated by Chef Chaz, this music-driven dining experience celebrates history, place, and people through intentional pairings.
New Chef Panel Moderated by Josh Eats Philly — A brand-new interactive chef panel will bring together regional voices for a living, shared conversation on food traditions and storytelling, moderated by local cultural leader Josh Eats Philly.
Local Educational Partnership — WCF is partnering with the Philly Wine School, bridging the festival’s mission with the local community to champion inclusive, community-first wine exploration.
New Featured Wine Partners — The tasting lineup welcomes Don Luchi Prosecco and June Rodil’s rosé, joining existing partners Jackson Family Wines and Sandeman for a multifaceted world of taste.
For the first time, every floor of the Bok Building will serve a dedicated purpose, guiding guests through a curated journey of tastings, interactive classes, and cultural activations. The entire building becomes a campus — intentional, immersive, and built to ensure that every guest leaves trusting their palate and their story.
