The Philadelphia Film Society is Screening Home Alone With a Quizzo & Pizza Party (PJs Encouraged)
Take all my money and keep the change you filthy animal because the Philadelphia Film Society (PFS) and the Philadelphia Film Society Young Friends are hosting a special holiday themed Throwback Quizzo screening of Home Alone on December 8th. The first 50 guests to show up will be treated to slices of cheese pizza and all card-carrying PFS Young Friend members will be entitled to a free popcorn. And just like Kevin, PJs are encouraged.
Whether it’s someone’s first time seeing the holiday classic or they already know the brand of aftershave Kevin uses, the (No Spoilers) Home Alone Quizzo will have jolly teams competing against each other over irreverent holiday trivia, festive McCauley Culkin facts, and more!
In addition, the Film Society’s bar will be open to add a little bit of Santa Claus’ patented rosy cheeks for all to have a good night and for those under the age of 21, hot coco will be able to warm you up while watching Kevin trek through the snow covered suburbs of Chicago.
Tickets to screenings are currently available to purchase on Filmadelphia.org for $14 ($9 for PFS Members). Throwback Quizzo will take place at 7 PM before the screening of HOME ALONE. Quirk Books is the official prize sponsor of the Throwback Quizzo & Movie series.
