The Philadelphia Film Center Will Be Screening Holiday Classics on the Big Screen Including Elf, & A Christmas Story & It’s a Wonderful Life
It’s a tradition to sit around the TV and watch classic Christmas flicks this time of year. However, for those looking to catch a few holiday favorites on the big screen now is your chance.
The Philadelphia Film Society (PFS) is excited to announce screenings of beloved holiday classics LOVE ACTUALLY, ELF, and A CHRISTMAS STORY taking place at the Philadelphia Film Center (1412 Chestnut Street) December 10 – 12.
The new Christmas classic, THE GREEN KNIGHT starring Dev Patel in the epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, will return to the Film Center with screenings beginning December 10.
In addition to this weekend’s line-up, PFS will be hosting the 3rd Annual IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE screening with a food drive benefiting Philabundance, on December 14 at 7:30 PM at the Film Center. Tickets to this screening are free with a donation of a non-perishable food item. As well as screening of the celebrated holiday classic, FANNY AND ALEXANDER from Director Ingmar Bergman. Part of the Film Essentials series, catch a 4K restoration of this 1982 film on December 15 at 7:30 PM at the Film Center.
