The Northern Liberties Espresso Martini Crawl Returns With 20+ Locations Putting Their Own Unique Twist on the Cocktail

Attention espresso martini lovers, Northern Liberties Espresso Martini Bar Crawl makes its highly anticipated return. The 3rd Annual Espresso Martini Crawl takes over Northern Liberties on March 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., promising a caffeine-fueled celebration packed with cocktails, creativity, and neighborhood flair.

Hosted by the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, this year’s crawl looks to be the biggest yet, featuring 20+ participating bars, restaurants, cafes, and retailers offering specially priced espresso martinis ranging from $8 to $12. From classic renditions to wildly inventive spins, participating venues will compete for bragging rights in categories including Best Classic, Most Creative, and Best of the Day.

Expect far more than just vodka and espresso. The 2026 crawl leans fully into innovation, with espresso martinis topped in cold foam, flavored with peanut butter or orange blossom, infused with tequila or bourbon, frozen, garnished with chocolate and spices, and even paired with cheese-covered or dessert-inspired elements. Several locations will also roll out coffee-infused food specials, while others lean into St. Patrick’s Day weekend with festive additions.

There’s no cost to attend, and all food, drinks, and retail specials are pay-as-you-go, making it easy to explore at your own pace. Guests are encouraged to sip responsibly, stroll between venues, and cast votes for their favorite espresso martini creations throughout the day. Winners will be selected with help from public voting, judges, local media, and influencers.

Thousands of visitors are expected to descend on Northern Liberties, reinforcing the neighborhood’s reputation as one of Philadelphia’s most dynamic dining and nightlife destinations.
