The Newly Renovated PFS Bourse Theater Reopens With an Exciting Lineup of Curated Programming!

The Philadelphia Film Society (PFS) proudly announces that following a two-week closure for necessary maintenance, the PFS Bourse Theater (400 Ranstead St.) will reopened Friday, August 27 with screenings of RESPECT, CRYPTOZOO, NO MAN OF GOD, and more.

While closed, the Bourse installed a new air conditioning system which includes the already upgraded MERV-13 enhanced air filtration to protect against COVID-19. Additional interior upgrades include floor refinishing, touch up painting to the walls and restrooms, and fully operational escalators. The health, safety, and comfort of the Bourse patrons and staff remains a top priority and PFS hopes these additions make the theatrical experience at the Bourse more enjoyable for all who attend.

PFS is thrilled to share the full lineup of curated programming for September taking place at PFS venues; PFS Drive-In at the Navy Yard (Admiral Peary Way &, League Island Blvd), Philadelphia Film Center (1412 Chestnut Street), and PFS Bourse Theater (400 Ranstead Street, Intersection of Ranstead & S 4th).

The lineup includes a 20th Anniversary screening of DONNIE DARKO, Stanley Kubrick’s SPARTACUS in 4K, and cult classic THE HOLY MOUNTAIN.

Tickets to individual screenings are currently available to purchase on Filmadelphia.org, prices range from $13 to as low as $5.
