The New Greek Pop-Up Restaurant Super Spartan Opened in Center City!
Last July we broke the news of the boardwalk inspired pop-up “Salty’s” opening at the old Jamonera (105 S. 13th). Now that summer has come to an end, a new pop-up has opened at the same spot. Super Spartan which opened October 1st will be serving up Greek inspired food.
Super Spartan will run through the end of the year and offer indoor dining as well as outdoor and takeout. The menu will include items such as charred eggplant, yellow lentils hummus, grilled lamb dolmades, charred octopus, yogurt marinated chicken, lamb shanks and so much more. Hours: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
