It’s become a summer tradition at The Mann Center at this point. Each year classic flicks are shown on the big screen in the TD Pavilion while an orchestra plays the scores that have become iconic in their own right.

This season The Mann will be screening both Batman (1989) and Disney’s Aladdin while the Philadelphia Orchestra plays the score to each movie. The best part is fans can also pack a picnic for the perfect summer night date vibes.

On June 20th movie fans especially comic book fans are invited to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Batman. Projected on a larger-than-life screen, the 1989 blockbuster starring Michael Keaton as Batman will come to life as The Philadelphia Orchestra performs Danny Elfman’s thrilling score live to picture under the stars.

Then on July 27th grab your magic carpet get ready for Disney’s Aladdin where once again the Philadelphia Orchestra will perform the Oscar®, Golden Globe®, and Grammy®-winning score live. Relive your childhood with hits including “Arabian Nights,” “Friend Like Me,” “Prince Ali,” and of course the Academy Award winning song “A Whole New World.”
