The Mann Center is Hosting a Free Drive-In Movies Series!
Looks like the Navy Yard isn’t the only venue looking to bring back the nostalgia of the drive-in movie experience. The Mann Center just announced via social media that they are hosting a drive-in movie series in the parking lot of their venue.
The series will be presented by T-Mobile & Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and will screen a total of eight movies beginning August 21st and will include movies from the BlackStar Film Festival. The drive-in will run until September 25th. For each screening, the first 100 patrons will receive FREE frozen treats by Dre’s Homemade Water Ice & Ice Cream, compliments of T-Mobile. Treats will be handed out upon vehicle entry, while supplies last.
All tickets to The Philly Drive-In Presented by T-Mobile are free, but must be reserved online in advance via this Eventbrite to guarantee entry. There will be no on-site box office. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. To enter the event, tickets are required and ticket holders must arrive in a vehicle. One ticket is required per vehicle for entry. In regards to safety The Mann Center stated, “The health and safety of our patrons and staff is our number one priority. That’s why we made this year’s free outdoor movie series safe and socially distant for everyone to enjoy. Ticket holders will receive detailed safety procedures in advance of the screening and upon entrance into the drive-in area.” Click here to reserve your tickets!
