The Kimmel Center Will Be Screening Nightmare Before Christmas & Elf With The Philadelphia Orchestra Playing the Scores

If you’re a fan of the classic holiday flicks Nightmare Before Christmas of Elf, here’s a chance to experience them like never before. The Kimmel Center is set to screen both movies and the best part is the Philadelphia Orchestra will be playing the score live as the movie plays.

The first movie to be screened will be Nightmare Before Christmas which will run November 24th-26th in the Verizon Hall. Then on December 22nd and 23rd get ready for the screening of Elf. Both movies will have The Philadelphia Orchestra on-hand for the ultimate movie experience.

Both screenings are apart of the Kimmel Center’s “Family Discovery Series” which includes a series of family friendly shows ranging from movies to live plays.  The series also includes The Lion King in concert, Disney’s Frozen, Cirque Dreams Holidaze, and more.
