The Juneteenth Wine & Arts Festival Returns With Tastings From Black-Owned Wineries, Live Music, Art & More

With Juneteenth on the horizon, Cherry Street Pier (121 N Christopher Columbus Blvd.) will once again be hosting a special wine and arts event that will celebrate Black entrepreneurs and artists in these spaces. Curated and hosted by Shekhinah B., the 2nd Annual Juneteenth Wine & Arts Festival will take place on June 15th from 1-5 pm and will feature Black wineries, artists, and musicians.

Co-organized by The Women’s Coalition for Empowerment, Inc. and Cyrenity Sips Winery LLC, in partnership with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, this festival will offer guests a chance to sip wines form Black-owned wineries as well as shop art from local Black artists and craft vendors.

Participating PA Wineries  will include Cyrenity Sips Winery, Mark & Val Wines, Mitchell & Mitchell Wines, Blacoak Tasting Room, and Gritty City Winery. Vendors will include Fitman Performance Training, Docs Cookie Table, Madcrumbs Sweet Boutique Co., The Mango Hut, Shotz of Love, Herb Fuzion, and Nutz About Popcorn.

For entertainment, guests will be treated to performances by Lady Alma, Kharisma Mcllwaine, Ashley Scott, Candace Cahoe;.DJ Reddz, DJ Neeek Nyce, and DJ Giz.

Tickets to the Juneteenth Wine & Arts Festival are available on Eventbrite and are $20 in advance and $30 day of at the door.  There’s also a   $75  VIP option that includes a wine education session, six tastings including three Rose wines and three Sparkling wines. In addition VIPs will also be served an individually wrapped lite Faire charcuterie, and a Rose Blend from the prestigious Cyrenity Sips Winery, Mark & Val Wines & BlacOak Wine as a souvenir.
