The Free Library of Philadelphia is Offering a Free Chess Club for Kids
Maybe the next Bobby Fischer is in our own backyard? Who knows but if you’re looking to teach a child in your life the sweet game of chess, The Free Library of Philadelphia is offering some great opportunities.
Two locations are offering a Chess Club free for Children.
The Charles Santore Library (932 South 7th Street) is hosting a chess club for children on January 13th at 6:30. This event is for kids ages 2-12 years old.
Then just a few days after on January 15th the Thomas F. Donatucci, Sr. Library (1935 Shunk Street) is hosting a kid’s chess club at 4:30 pm. This event is for kids from ages 7-12 years old.
These are both great opportunities to start your kids early and teach them a game of skill and critical thinking. Make sure to sign up today!
