The Frankford Tiki Bar Opens This Weekend and Will Feature Frozen Cocktails, Live Music and Tacos

A new twist to a familiar Fishtown spot is coming.  The space adjacent to Heffe Tacos has seen its fair share of pop-up bars but now a couple of nightlife industry vets are revamping the space with a fun new concept.  The Frankford Tiki Bar (1431 Frankford Ave.) will open Friday July 29th and will feature as you may have guessed, Tiki torches, drinks and island vibes.

Hospitality veteran & musician Timmo Russ partnered with Philadelphia restaurateur Michael Daddario to develop a unique and intimate outdoor oasis created for margarita and taco lovers. The unique location has been unused for close to a year but the duo decided to team-up and bring life back to the unique garden space which is located next to Heffe Tacos.

Guests can enjoy frozen drink cocktails, live music (with conversation level tones), tons of shade and lots of good vibes. The best part is the Heffe Taco stand is right next door for the perfect pairing of frozen cocktails and tacos.

The space accommodates up to 45 guests and is scheduled to remain open until the end of October. During opening weekend, Fishtown residents are able to take advantage of the Frankford Tiki Bar’s special of 50% off (with proof of Fishtown residency),

Fishtown has been home to both Timmo and Michael, not only for business and living “but has also served as a stomping ground for a decade of memories and good old fashion Philadelphia fun for their personal lives and multiple business ventures.,” Timmo states.

Mondays 4pm – 10pm
Tuesdays 4pm – 10pm
Thursdays 4pm – 10pm

Fridays 4 pm-10 pm
Saturdays 3pm – 10pm
Sundays 3pm – 10pm
