The Arch Street Meeting House Announces the BYOB Outdoor Screening of The Addams Family and Cemetery Crawl

The outdoor movie screenings aren’t over yet in Philly. The Arch Street Meeting House (320 Arch St.) will be screening another movie outdoors on their historic grounds. For those looking for a family friendly movie to get into the Halloween Spirit, ASMH will be screening the 1991 classic The Addams Family.

The screening will take place on September 23rd from 7:30pm-10:30pm. For a suggested donation of $5, grab a picnic blanket, snacks, and BYOB for a special movie night in Old City. Registration is required and includes admission to the museum prior to the screening. (registration is available on their website and Eventbrite)

Located in the heart of Old City, Philadelphia, Arch Street Meeting House is a museum, National Historic Landmark, and active Quaker place of worship. Constructed in 1804 on two acres of land deeded by William Penn as a burial ground to the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), Arch Street Meeting House has had an estimated 20,000 burials occur on its historic grounds. In the event of rain, the screening will be moved indoors to the East Room of the museum.

But wait there’s more. On September 24th ASMH will be participating in the Inaugural Cemetery Crawl. Participating member sites of the Living Cemetery Alliance of Greater Philadelphia will offer tours, open houses, educational programming, and more.  Details on each location’s activities can be found on the LCAGP Facebook page.
