The Almost Famous Pop-up Shop Returns With 25 Women-Owned Businesses and a Nail Art Workshop

Last summer Almost Famous celebrated their one year anniversary with a special Juneteenth event, now this year they’re are back with a special event for Women’s History Month. The upcoming Almost Famous Women’s Market takes place March 18th from 11 am to 6 pm and will feature 25 women owned businesses.

This event is a kickoff  to the beginning of Spring with a day dedicated to women bosses at the Center for Architecture and Design (1218 Arch St.).  25 women-owned businesses, vendors will sell clothes, jewelry, art, home goods, cosmetics and more will gather for a day of celebration and recognition. Throughout the day guests will get to enjoy sounds from 3 DJ sets which include Ohlei, DJ Nash and BLACKMDNA as well as food, drinks, giveaways and a large community of creatives to build amongst.

In addition to the marketplace, the event will also feature a nail art workshop hosted by Otee the Tech. TheWorkshop will be about one and a half hours long where participants will get to design their own press-on nail set to take home. There are 2 sessions – one from 2pm-3:30pm and the other from 3:30pm-5pm. Tickets are available here and are $10 for general admission and $35 for admission and nail art workshop.
