The All-New Pass and Stow Beer Garden is Coming to Citizens Bank Park
Whether you loved it or hated it McFadden’s was a staple at Citizens Bank Park. We first broke the news about Shake Shack taking its place but many folks were wondering how can a burger joint fill out that sprawling layout. Well, it looks like Shake Shack is moving adjacent to the Old McFadden’s and a beer garden will be set-up instead. The all-new Pass and Stow (named after John Pass and John Stow who recasted the Liberty Bell in 1753) will be ready for the home opener against the Braves.
The operation will be ran by both the Phillies and their official food and beverage provider Aramark. In total the Pass and Stow will be 11,500 sq. ft. and have seating for up to 250. That’s a lot of beers being passed around. For those looking for a little shade, the indoor portion will have seating for 150 over across 7,000 sq. ft with garage doors to allow easy access between the two spaces.
However, this won’t like Xfinity Live! where you can just come and kick it. All patrons must have a game day ticket to enter. That’s kind of a bummer.
