In an effort to help flatten the curve, Temple University announced that their athletics department will be moving to a digital ticket system. This new rule will be in place for the fall sports season. This means there will be no hard ticket sales but attendees may print their tickets at home or use their mobile devices to enter events.

There is an industry-wide transition to digital tickets, especially in today’s current climate with many uncertainties surrounding COVID-19. This will allow us to better serve our fans and eliminate possible shipping issues associated with hard tickets.”
Mr. Walcoff went on to suggest that the new digital format will also help increase of the staff at all sporting events stating, “By taking advantage of the mobile option, our fans will also have more contactless ticket management flexibility including forwarding tickets to family and friends at any time, as well as have more peace of mind with a reduced risk of lost, stolen, or forgotten tickets.”
