Stateside Live! Is Hosting a Grand Opening Celebration to Debut Its New $20M Expansion Featuring a Rooftop Bar
A major transformation is coming to the sports complex as Comcast Spectacor and The Cordish Companies prepare to unveil the newly expanded Stateside Live! with a grand opening on Friday, May 29, at 5 p.m.
The $20+ million project reimagines the venue as a year-round indoor-outdoor entertainment destination, anchored in the heart of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex.
Stateside Live! is designed to host everything from game-day watch parties and nightlife events to concerts and large-scale festivals for up to 5,000 guests.
The reimagined space introduces several new attractions, blending elevated nightlife with sports and live entertainment:
AVA Rooftop Bar
A two-story, open-air rooftop lounge offering skyline views of the stadium district. By day, it serves as a relaxed social space, transitioning into a DJ-driven nightlife destination with craft cocktails, bottle service, and an elevated menu featuring items like lobster rolls, spicy tuna tacos, and short rib sliders.
Coors Light Stage
A large-scale outdoor stage with capacity for up to 5,000 guests, equipped with advanced sound and lighting. The space will host concerts, festivals, and live broadcasts throughout the summer and fall.
PBR Backyard
An expansion of PBR Philly, adding an outdoor stage, dance floor, and VIP sections to enhance its high-energy, country-themed entertainment experience.
Blue Moon Beer Garden & Stateside Crush Bar
A vibrant open-air space featuring rotating seasonal brews and freshly made cocktails, designed for casual hangouts, group gatherings, and game-day celebrations.
Food and Fan Favorites
The upgraded venue will also feature a lineup of familiar staples, including:

- Lorenzo’s Pizza
- Geno’s Steaks
Enhanced ordering technology will streamline the experience, making it easier for guests to grab food and drinks without missing the action.
Grand Opening Celebration
To mark the debut, Stateside Live! will host a weekend-long grand opening celebration, highlighted by a free concert from Taking Back Sunday—bringing a major live music moment to kick off the venue’s new chapter.
