Who’s down for some Pickle Ball on South Street? Well, in honor of National Pickleball Day (which was August 8th) Bridget Foy’s (200 South St.) has teamed-up with The Botanist Islay Dry Gin for an evening of pickleball, food, music, and drinks.

Taking place from 4 pm – 8 m on Thursday August 22nd at Headhouse Plaza, the area will be transformed into Pickleball courts for an evening of fun, cocktails, and delicious pickle-themed food specials for attendees to enjoy.

The Botanist Gin is the official gin of both Major League Pickleball and the Association of Pickleball Players, adding to the excitement of the event.

Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball player or looking to try the sport for the first time, this event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a friendly game, sip on refreshing cocktails from the Botanist, and bites from Bridget Foy’s.

Industry Hour Play will kick off at 4:30 PM, with eight neighboring South Street District bars competing in a tournament for a chance to win prizes like dinner for two at Bridget Foy’s or Cry Baby Pasta. The public can sign up for free play (signed waiver required) starting at 5:30 PM under the blue tent on 2nd Street. Each game is slotted for 15 minutes. Pickleball paddles and balls will be provided, or participants can bring their own.

During the games, Hospitality professionals are encouraged to enjoy Bridget Foy’s Courtside Patio to “Be the Botanist” and craft their own gin & tonic cocktails pairing the 22 botanical flavors in the Botanist Gin, using a variety of tonics and over 50 garnishes and a unique culinary experience.
