Solomonov and Olivieri Will Teach You How to Make Lamb Shoulder Shwarma in an Virtual Cooking Class!
Michael Solomonov, James Beard Foundation Award-winner and Co-owner of CookNSolo Restaurants, and Frankie Olivieri, Owner of Pat’s King of Steaks, will conduct a virtual cooking class on Tuesday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m., as part of Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) of Greater Philadelphia’s Nourishing Community. JFCS is offering a once-a-month virtual cooking series featuring top-area chefs, home cooks, and cookbook authors sharing recipes, and tips from their kitchens while raising funds to support JFCS food relief programs. Solomonov and Olivieri will be preparing Lamb Shoulder Shwarma.
“Food insecurity across the region is at an all-time high,” said Pia Eisenberg, Sr. Vice President, Community Engagement, JFCS Greater Philadelphia. “We are grateful to the participating chefs for giving us this opportunity to come together in a fun and engaging way to raise much-needed dollars for JFCS’ food relief efforts in support of the most vulnerable in our region.”
Individuals with a passion for cooking are encouraged to participate in JFCS’ Nourishing Community. “Entrée” to the series requires a contribution to JFCS’ Mitvah Menu in support of hunger relief. Registration is required at https://www.jfcsphilly.org/eve
