Riverfront Stroll Debuts This Weekend Featuring Outdoor Eateries, Beer Gardens & a Floating Restaurant!
FCM Hospitality and owner Avram Hornik announce the debut of Philly River Stroll this coming Friday, July 24, 2020 at 4:00pm along Philadelphia River Waterfront. Philly River Stroll features three brand-new, open-air, waterfront eateries and beer gardens that will connect Race Street Pier, Cherry Street Pier and Spruce Street Harbor Park sustained by Univest. River Beer Garden will debut for the summer and fall outside Race Street Pier with 100+ shaded sidewalk seats, lite bites and beer from Mainstay Independent Brewing Company.
Next door, The Garden at Cherry Street will debut with an expansive open-air restaurant that will seat over 200+ people and feature stunning views, lush greenery, beer, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, plus fresh, scratch sandwiches, salads and snacks, with bread and pastries from the famous Lost Bread Co. Down the Delaware River, patrons can stroll for a more elevated experience at the floating restaurant The Water Garden at Spruce Street Harbor Park with seating for 125+ people and a menu of beer, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, plus elevated yet approachable shareables, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, baked goods and pastries.
The goal for all three new eateries and beer gardens is to create new socially distanced opportunities for families staying in the city to get out and enjoy socially-distanced eats and drinks, while keeping things moving and staying active. Philly River Stroll was also designed to compliment the unique and creative offerings along the Delaware, including the artists at Cherry Street Pier, Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest and Spruce Street Harbor Park. The Water Garden at Spruce Street Harbor Park is a brand-new floating restaurant in the former home of the Oasis Barge. FCM Hospitality will present 125+ socially distanced seats, colorful shade, beautiful views of the floating garden and the waterfront activities, 
plus an elevated menu of casual and approachable eats that will feature dishes showcasing seasonal local produce. The Water Garden is ADA-compliant and features beautiful raw metal railings and authentic boardwalk details. The cantilevered net lounge, inspired by Caribbean resorts, is a place where visitors can relax while suspended 4 feet above the water. Don’t worry, debris liners are in place to catch keys, change and cell phones! The floating gardens are constructed from a durable, non-toxic post-consumer plastic, and used around the country for wetland restoration. Not only are they aesthetically beautiful, but they also serve to clean the water in the marina.
For food at The Water Garden, look for salads, sandwiches, entrees, sharables, appetizers and more – with some dishes remaining all summer and into the fall, and other dishes changing with the rotation of the local crop harvest. Drinks will include beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.

River Beer Garden is designed for guests 21 and older with identification. Kids, families and anyone under 21 can participate as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21.
