Revolution Taco in Rittenhouse is Giving Away Free Tacos on Their Official Opening Day! That’s right, Revolution Taco which is the mastermind of local food truck owners Mike Sultan & Carolyn Nguyen (Street Food Philly and Taco Mondo) along with Alan Krawitz (Say Cheese) will officially open their Mexican inspired joint venture in the posh Rittenhouse neighborhood at 2015 Walnut St.
Slated for Friday January 8th, the trio will celebrate by giving away free tacos! So if you’re in the neighborhood and want to try out this cool new hip spot, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity for a free sample. Visitors will receive free tacos from noon til 1 pm for the lunch crowd then the freebies resume from 4-6pm for the after-work rush hour crowd. So there’s no excuse to not swing by.
Revolution Taco is BYOB (yay!) and seats up to 30 people. Currently it’s open with limited hours and limited menu, expect for more range in the menu along with more convenient hours of operation. As of late Philly has seen a surge in the taco scene. However, most of these spots such as Heffe Taco and Loco Pez are located in more hipster neighborhoods such as Fishtown. Those looking to indulge in some Mexican are subject to more higher-end sit down spots such as Tequilas. Currently you’d be hard pressed to find delicious tacos in this part of town so it will be interesting to see just how popular this spot will become. However, we have a strong feeling Revolution Taco will do just find especially since Philly is all about BYOBs and finger bar food, especially tacos. Will you be checking it out?
