Queen & Rook’s Fantasy Faire Block Party Returns With 30+ Craft and Fantasy Vendors, Sword Fighting, Tarot Card Readings, and More
Hear ye, hear ye! Queen & Rook’s Fantasy Faire Block Party is making its grand return to South Street on Saturday, September 27, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. For one magical day, the 100 block of South Street between S. 2nd and Front Streets will be transformed into a Renaissance faire-inspired village full of whimsical fun, immersive performances, and family-friendly activities. Best of all? Admission is free.
This all-ages celebration invites guests to step into a world of knights, jesters, magic, and merriment with:

Tarot card readings, wax sealing, and mead tastings

30+ craft and fantasy vendors offering costumes, art, and handmade creations
Costumes are highly encouraged, whether you’re a medieval maiden, armored knight, woodland fae, or your favorite fantasy character.
Alongside the street festivities, Queen & Rook will be serving their wood-fired pizzas and fantasy-inspired fall food and cocktail menu. Indoor dining reservations are available via Resy, and once the outdoor fun winds down, the celebration continues inside at the bar and arcade, where guests can enjoy Philly’s top game café atmosphere.
Festival sponsors — including Jim Beam/Suntory, Fishtown Iced Tea, Irvine’s Spirits, 3 Floyd’s Brewing, and New Trail Brewing — will also bring unique pop-ups to keep the spirits flowing.
