Port Richmond’s Gaul & Co. Malt House Will Be Hosting ‘A Philly Jawn’ Vintage Flea Market Featuring Over a Dozen Vendors

A Philly Jawn Vintage Flea Market is coming to Gaul & Co. Malt House (2619 E. Indiana Ave., Port Richmond) on November 9, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The one-day event brings together some of Philly’s hottest vintage resellers, curators, and collectors for a unique shopping experience.

Hosted at the Port Richmond staple known for its signature “Wit-or-Witowski” kielbasa cheesesteak, the flea market will feature a diverse lineup of vendors offering everything from Philly sports gear and collectible memorabilia to band tees, women’s fashion, hats, and rare finds sourced from thrift shops, flea markets, and even the occasional street-side discovery. Guests can shop, eat, and hang out while enjoying Gaul & Co.’s full menu of pub favorites and drinks.

The event will be curated by of Robert James Bautista II of @unearthphilly, a longtime vintage reseller who has been part of Philly’s thrift and streetwear scene for over a decade.

“I’ve been reselling for more than 10 years, but really leaned into the Philly sports vibe since 2021,” said Bautista. “This is my first time organizing and curating a vendor lineup myself, and I wanted to spotlight the real curators — the ones putting in the work every day, sourcing from bins, thrift stores, and sometimes even from what others throw away. These are the people who deserve recognition.”

Bautista’s vision for the flea market centers on authenticity — giving a platform to vendors who may not have massive online followings but are highly respected within the vintage and streetwear community for their taste, hustle, and dedication.

“This market isn’t just about selling clothes,” Bautista added. “It’s about celebrating the people who make Philly’s vintage scene what it is — the creativity, the grind, and the sense of community that keeps it all going.”
