Philly-Based Apparel Brand Art History 101 is Hosting a Special Event to Celebrate Their 14th Anniversary
When it comes to embodying the true Philly grit, Art History 101 has it in spades. Now looking to celebrate 14 years in business, their success did not come without trials in tribulations including a fire and vandalism to their flagship store at 7045 Frankford Ave.
Just as Rocky picked himself off the canvas every time he was knocked down, Art History 101 has done the same. Now fans of the clothing brand can celebrate this milestone with a special in-store event on Saturday March 9th.
From 12 pm – 2 pm guests will get to specials sales on select shirts and hats for $14 as well a BOGO deal on select hoodies. In addition Art History 101 plans on dropping a new release that day.
While you shop, you can enjoy the sounds of an in-store DJ curating the vibes. “We had a passion for art and fashion, I went to fashion design school and worked for a clothing brand and then decided to branch out on his own and created Art History 101, and Art History was the perfect name for what we wanted to accomplish,” states owner Justin Pross.
As for their perseverance to push forward despite setbacks, Justin added, “We love what we do, moving forward- Great quality and unique apparel and more collaborations and we will be moving into a much larger location later this year but still in the neighborhood only two blocks down.”
The sale will be 12-2 pm. However, the store will remain open until 5 pm.
