Now the iconic South Philly steak shop is going national as they are the latest Philadelphia food landmark to join food distributor Goldbely. Jim’s Steaks has already been apart of Goldbely’s national distribution, which prides itself for making the nation’s best grub accessible to the entire country. Other notable Pennsylvania eateries on Goldbely’s distribution list include Pittsburgh’s Primanti Bros.
So what’s the premium for someone say in Cali to enjoy a slice of Philly? Well Goldbely is offering 3 packages. A 4 pack for $99, an 8 pack for $179 and a 12 pack for $219. In case you were wondering yes you can get wit’ or wit’ out as well as your choice of cheese (Whiz, provolone or American).
Hey maybe you may be moving away or moved away and got a little homesick or perhaps you want to give a cool gift for someone in another state. Either way it’s a cool concept and although the price is a little steep it is cheaper than catching a flight and booking a room.
In regards to deliveries, Goldbely states the following:
- Items are prepared fresh and shipped directly from the shop
- Pat’s King of Steaks ships Tuesday & Thursday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
