PA May Soon Pass a Bill Allowing Cocktails-To-Go!
There’s no denying PA has some of if not the worst liquor laws in the country. While most states have the luxury of purchasing beer and liquor at supermarkets, gas stations and even some pharmacies, Pennsylvania continues to make a mission to enjoy drinks. However, a new bill be look to loosen the noose on those outdated laws.
Currently beer-to-go from bars is not uncommon but now the state will vote to allow cocktails-to-go. House Bill 327 which was unanimously passed by Pennsylvania’s House will soon be voted at the Senate floor.
The PA Senate is schedule to reconvene again May 18-20th and will look to vote on the bill, which could land on Gov. Tom Wolf’s lap that very week.
House Bill 327 will not only help usher Pennsylvania into the 21st century in terms of liquor laws it has the potential to boost sales and provide a nice boost in the local economy. However, it all remains to be seen. We’ll provide more updates once the votes are in.
