Over 100 Artists Will Be Selling Work For Under $200 at InLiquid’s “Art for The Cash Poor”

InLiquid invites the public to support Philly artists at their 22nd installment of Art for The Cash Poor on June 4th from 12-6 pm. This affordable art fair benefits visual artists, designers, and craftspeople. Art For The Cash Poor will feature more than 100 artists with all work priced at under $200 with all proceeds from art sales going directly to the artists.

Art for The Cash Poor returns to the American Street Corridor in Kensington (1400 – 1500 Block of North American St.) The festival will debut the revitalization of North American Street and the robust arts corridor that is taking shape along the street. Local arts and community organizations will provide free programming for visitors that day including art and craft-making demonstrations, workshops, and more.

InLiquid is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1999 by artist Rachel Zimmerman to connect artists and audiences in Philadelphia “because everyone needs art in their lives to be exuberant and to find hope, beauty, and purpose,” their mission statement reads.  23 years later, this mission is more imperative than ever, and the creative community continues to make art accessible to all.

Art for the Cash Poor brings together a wide array of artists from diverse backgrounds and voices and celebrating the emerging and established talents of our region.
