Old City District is bringing back one of Philly’s favorite summer traditions as the Old City Eats Block Party returns on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The annual event transforms Old City’s restaurant corridor into a lively open-air dining experience, giving guests the chance to explore some of the neighborhood’s most popular restaurants, bars, and cocktail spots all in one night.

This year’s event will expand beyond its traditional 2nd Street footprint for the first time, adding the 100 block of Chestnut Street and giving attendees even more of Old City’s culinary scene to explore.

“Old City Eats is a reflection of what makes this neighborhood unlike anywhere else in Philadelphia,” said Executive Director Job Itzkowitz. “Whether you’re a longtime regular reuniting with your favorite restaurants, or discovering what this neighborhood has to offer for the first time, June 4th is your invitation to pull up a seat on 2nd Street.”

The 2026 lineup includes a mix of longtime neighborhood staples and new additions, including:

  • Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar
  • Khyber Pass Pub
  • Nick’s Bar & Grille
  • Positano Coast
  • Han Dynasty
  • Royal Boucherie
  • Vista Peru
  • The Plough & the Stars
  • Sassafras
  • 48 Record Bar
  • Brownies Irish Pub

New participants this year include:

  • Almanac
  • Buena Vista Mexican Restaurant

Additional restaurants and specials are expected to be announced leading up to the event

Sponsored by Bacardi USA, this year’s block party will feature specialty cocktails made with brands like Bacardi and Patrón at participating restaurants.

Guests 21+ can also collect tokens with qualifying cocktail purchases and redeem them for exclusive swag and prizes throughout the evening.
