Northern Liberties Gears Up for Its Second Annual Fall Festival Featuring 40+ Vendors, Live Music, & Wine Garden

The Northern Liberties Business Improvement District (NLBID) is bringing back one of the city’s newest seasonal traditions—the Northern Liberties Fall Festival, returning for its second annual celebration on Sunday, October 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presented by Sprouts Farmers Market, this neighborhood-wide event will transform Northern Liberties into a fall wonderland filled with live music, local vendors, festive bites, brews, and family-friendly fun.

Stretching across the 3rd Street corridor and Liberty Lands Park, the Northern Liberties Fall Festival will feature dozens of activations that highlight the creativity and energy of one of Philadelphia’s most dynamic neighborhoods. Attendees can explore local artisans, seasonal food and drink offerings, and interactive experiences that capture the spirit of the season.

Festival zones include:

  • Two Outdoor Music Stages with all-day live performances

  • Philly Sports Zone at North Third for football fans

  • City Winery’s Vino Garden with wine tastings and cozy seating

  • Family Fun Zone, sponsored by Little City Montessori, featuring pumpkin painting, games, scavenger hunts, and face painting

  • Kin Creative House’s Polaroid Wall, an Instagram-worthy backdrop where attendees can capture their fall memories

The Ortlieb’s Stage, presented by City Winery, will showcase a mix of local favorites including The Warhawks, Cadre Noir, Mandy Valentine, So Totally, and more. Attendees can also enjoy a hot dog eating contest, free comedy sets, and an after-party inside Ortlieb’s featuring Reef the Lost Cause and Full Bush.

At the Liberty Lands Stage, sponsored by GoPuff, the day kicks off with a $5 yoga flow by Monarch Yoga, followed by performances from Living Arts, a kids’ costume event hosted by Tula Yoga, and live sets by Taylor Kelly, Huston West Banjo, and Bill Saurman’s School of Thought.

Festival-goers can browse more than 40 local vendors and makers, including 70SIX Boutique, Ana Thorne, Lucky Bond, Petal to the Metal Décor, Sisterly Threads, and more. Northern Liberties’ favorite bars and restaurants—Bourbon & Branch, El Camino Real, Hudson Table, Jerry’s Bar, Milk Jawn, North Third, and Urban Village Brewing—will serve up special fall-themed menus and seasonal drinks throughout the day.

“Northern Liberties BID is thrilled to bring back our Fall Festival for its second year,” said Sydney Rexroad, Executive Director of NLBID. “We’re expanding the celebration with even more vendors, family-friendly entertainment, and seasonal treats. With support from Sprouts Farmers Market and our community partners, Fall Fest is quickly becoming one of Northern Liberties’ signature events. Whether you’re grabbing a bite from a local restaurant, enjoying the live music, or joining in the family fun, there’s something for everyone.”
