Northern Liberties’ 2nd Street Festival is This Weekend Featuring 150+ Vendors and 2 Stages With Live Music
One of Philly’s most popular block parties is back. Founded back in 2008, the 2nd Street Festival in Northern Liberties has quickly grown into one of the hottest events in the city. Spanning several blocks between Girard Ave and Spring Garden St., the festival features over 150 vendors, live music as well as parties happening all-weekend long.
This year’s 2nd Street Festival is taking place Sunday August 6th from 12 pm – 10 pm. Those looking to do some shopping can find a wide-rage of vendors in categories such as art & photography, household goods, clothing, jewelry, personal care, pet care, and more. However, of course the biggest draw is the food. There will be plenty of food vendors as well as food trucks on-hand to choose from.
Leading up to the 2nd Street Festival, organizers have curated festivities at North Bowl starting with a birthday party for the late Jerry Garcia on Friday the 4th at North Bowl from 8 pm – midnight then Funk Bowl on Saturday featuring live music from Dopapod, Octave Cat, and Out of Beardspace.
