New Chinatown Restaurant Canton 11 is a Game Changer
Stroll through our Chinatown and you’ll notice a common occurrence. Aside from 1 or 2 businesses, the look and feel is subtle. No glitz. No glam. Just a no frills area where you can score some pretty amazing Asian cuisine. Well that’s all about to change when the all-new Canton 11 opens up at 1025 Arch St. So what exactly is so different and “game changing” well for starters it will have that flashy modern Asian restaurant feel you’d find in metropolitan areas Asia. You know the bright with the over-the top decor and building materials type of spot.
Being that it will be Chinatown’s flashiest and really only upscale spot it also will be a draw for things other than its food. This place will actually be a triple threat. Aside from serving up sushi and Cantonese food, Canton 11 will also serve as a bubble tea hub as well as a karaoke hangout boasting 8 rooms. From the description and renderings of Canton 11 it definitely feels as though the owners were going for that classic Hong Kong glitz.
For those looking to added privacy Canton 11 will also provide space for private dining. The “private” upstairs will be able to accommodate up to 400 people. Although Chinatown currently has a score of popular restaurants, Canton 11 looks to provide a new vibe, new style and pave the way for more modern, Asian chic restaurants in Philadelphia.
