Want to do more arts and crafts but don’t have the supplies you need? Perhaps you would like to swap supplies and materials instead of buying new ones? Either way STITCH AND DESTROY (523 S. 4th St.) will be hosting their inaugural Craft Supply Swap on March 22nd from noon-5 pm.

Guests will be able to take and swap your pre-loved or unused art and craft supplies, and become inspired to make more art. Feel free to drop off your supplies and take home new materials at any time during event hours. In fact attendees don’t even need to bring materials to take materials and to top it all off, this is a free event and no RSVP ticket is required. Any supplies brought to the swap and not taken during the event are considered donated to STITCH AND DESTROY.

For those unfamiliar, STITCH AND DESTROY is an upcycled alternative fashions studio and store that creates clothing from textile waste, selling local recycled wares, and hosting sewing workshops. They are looking to host quarterly Craft Supply Swaps and monthly Clothing Swaps as well.
